Right downstairs from La Val's Pizza of North Side resides the Sub Terranean Theatre. Maintaned and operated by Berkeley's own SHOTGUN PLAYERS, this fully equipped theatre seats 50 people and is home to great local and traveling performances.

Shotgun Players, the non-profit theatre company based in the East Bay, has theatre space available for rent. The theatre is a black box, 50 seat space in the basement of the newly remodeled La Val’s pizza parlor, 1834 Euclid in Berkeley. It is half a block from the North entrance of UC Berkeley Campus, and easily accessible by public transport.
